It is always difficult to admit that the car you paid a lot of money for not so long ago is now not worth what you think it is.

After all cars are expensive, and no-one likes the idea of losing money.

At Aequitas as you already know for good or bad we will always be upfront and honest and so you may think it strange that we are coming to the defence of your dealership.

According to a recent study conducted by GAP one in three of us think that our car is worth more than the part exchange value offered with a large proportion attributing this to " the dealership trying to rip them off".

Selling or part exchnaging your used car can be very stressful and in some cases daunting however knowing what you car is really worth is a key factor. Too little and you could be walking away from thousands too much and you may never sell it or at best be left with the feeling that you have been taken advantage of.

Most dealerships will welcome the informed buyer as knowing what you car is worth helps you to feel confident about the price you are offered and helps make the whole process of buying a new car at lot easier for all involved.

So how much is your car worth?

Why not take the Aequitas Valuation quiz and see just how accurate you are? ( prices taken from Glass's Guide Novemeber 2013 )
