In some exciting news today coming out of the Renault company within the last hour, we are excited about the news regarding the Megane model and the Scenic from the French manufacturer which are all set to receive a brand new special trim package this September which will consist of new engine ranges, interior and exterior features.
The Megane and the Scenic are two of Renault's finest selling models of all time and they have achieved much success over the years. The Renault company are one of the world wide known companies who in the past have rivalled the likes of Peugeot and Citroen and we believe that these all new trim levels for these two specific models will help benefit the car to no end in terms of sales and popularity.
So we first start out looking at the new engine ranges that will go on offer this September. We see the welcome debut's of three petrol engines and and two diesel's. These will include for the petrol line up,a 1.6 vvt,a 1.2 energry Tce and a 1.2 Energy TCE. All ranging with power outputs between 110 brake horse power and 130 bhp.
The diesel variants to on offer will include a 1.5 litre Dci and a 1.6 litre dci. 110 brake horse power will be produced from the 1.5 litre whereas 130bhp will come from the 1.6.
Some other new features that we think could prove to be some key selling points for the car will include a panoramic sunroof, tinted windows and folding door mirrors. That's certainly not all though. The inclusions of optional extras are neat too which include 17 inch alloy wheels, an all new infotainment system and a built in sat-nav also.
Well we are pleased to deliver on the good news that these special edition trims are available to order right now and will go on sale from September of this year. In terms of how much these new components are going on sale for, expect to make the purchases for the Megane from a starting price of £18,250 with the price ranging upwards for the optional extras and £19,865 for the Scenic with the same applying for optional features.
