In January 2020, Mapfre withdrew from the Uk gap Insurance market. Whilst your policy is still live and ready to assist you should you ever need to make a claim, Mapfre is not accepting any new Gap insurance policies.

Your policy is underwritten by Novus Underwriting Limited on behalf of Helvetia Schweizerische Versicherungsgesellschaft in Liechtenstein AG.

Part of the Helvetia Group originally founded in 1858 they are a Financially "A" rated provider with green credentials, having planted over 240,000 trees and only using renewable energy.

In our opinion, they have not only the longevity but also the experience and financial resilience to be a Swiss force to be reckoned with.  The Financial Conduct Authority regulates them. The Financial Services Compensation Scheme also backs your policy.
