Subaru WRX to arrive in the summer

In some car industry news today coming directly out of the Japanese car firm known as Subaru, we are excited to report on the latest breaking news regarding the WRX model from the brand which is all set to make its return here to the UK and across other parts of the world too throughout the duration of Summer this year. When you mention the name Subaru to a car enthusiast one of the first vehicles that come to mind will indeed be the WRX formerly known as the Impreza.

The vehicle was one of the more sporty vehicles of its day intil gradually phasing out of the UK and other parts of Europe also. Now though the brand have announced that here we will see a brand new WRX model make a comeback to our streets and could even potentially cement its legacy in the future of both our new and used car industry alike.

What has been announced so far regarding the Subaru WRX?

Well with that being said, it may leave you wondering what has changed for the vehicle since its original run here in the UK and around the world. Well we are pleased to report that brand owners of Subaru have officially confirmed that the car will see the newly developed 2.5 litre, four cylinder, turbo boxer engine that in total will be all set to carry 301 units of brake horsepower and will therefore make the sprint from 0 to 62 miles per hour in a time of just 5.1 seconds flat.

With this being said it has also been confirmed that this addition to the Subaru range will reach top speeds overall of 160 miles per hour. The vehicle comes complete in a four wheel drive format but does also come complete with a six speed manual transmission system.

In regards to the body layout and look of the vehicle in general, nothing much in terms of the exterior of the WRX has really been changed and looks awfully similar to that of the original model that was in circulation here a number of years back now, not that this is a bad thing by any means. With these perfect attributes in mind, we do believe that this model will continue to rival the likes of Mitsubishi and will also find great contending rivals from other brands such as the likes of Lexus and BMW.

When can you expect to get your hands on the new Subaru WRX?

We are pleased to announce that although an exact release date is stil yet to be confirmed by the brand, we do know that the all new WRX model will indeed make its first set of deliveries in your nearest Subaru dealership throughout the duration of the Summer this year. You can expect to invest into this all new Subaru WRX at a cost of £28,995.
