The new Toyota Aygo

In some car industry news today coming directly out of the Japanese owned car firm known as Toyota, we are pleased to report on the latest breaking news to make its way out of the Geneva motor show, which comes in the shape and form of the brand new Aygo model that is set to go on sale here in the UK and across other parts of the world too.

Over the course of the history of the brand Toyota have had some great selling vehicles some of which include the likes of, the Rav 4 and the companies range of Hybrid models but perhaps none finer than this all new Aygo model. This will mark the second generation of Aygo models with the first original car setting new standards in todays new and used industry so, why do we think that this all new addition to the Toyota family has the potential to be the best yet?

Facts about the new Toyota Aygo

So with this being said, what is it that has gone into this brand new Aygo model to make it stand out above the rest and be something special in the car industry of today. Well, yesterday at the vehicles official revealing at the Geneva Motor Show, the Toyota firm announced that we should expect the newly developed 1.0 litre three cylinder engine to be fitted in the Aygo when it arrives later this year. The new engine will have the ability to produce a sprint from 0 to 62 miles per hour in a time of just 14.2 seconds.

A choice will also be offered to customers at the time of purchase which includes either a five speed manual transmission system or an X shift automated system will also be available too. It has also been confirmed by brand owners that ahead of the cars official launch we will also see two special editions go on sale to the general public too which mainly consists of different colour options and a few added extras more of which we are waiting to hear more on.

In regards to some of the key standout features of the model and what we believe could potentially be some of the key selling points for the Aygo itself, we believe these come in the shape and form of plenty of interior space, part leather seats and an all new Infotainment system that comes fully fitted into the dashboard of the vehicle itself. With this mix of performance and comfort we believe that this model could even rival other brands such as Audi, Seat and Nissan.

When will the new Toyota Aygo be on sale?

We are pleased to report that the brand announced yesterday in Geneva that, this all new Aygo model will be available in your nearest Toyota dealership from July of this year and, you can expect to invest into the all new Toyota Aygo at a cost of around £9,000.
