New Ford Fiesta ST-3

The new Flagship model from Ford, the Fiesta ST-3 is a host to a whole load of extra standard kit, which includes cruise control and keyless entry. Ford launched the brand new range topping version of it's Fiesta ST model recently, which will have a starting price of £19,250.

The model is called the Ford Fiesta ST-3 and it's features include a lot of extra kit that comes as standard, building on the specification of the ST-2. The kit includes automated wipers and lights, an auto dimming rear view mirror and DAB radio with satellite navigation and powerfold door mirrors with puddle lamps, which help to account for the extra £1,000 premium this flagship model requests. There can also be parking sensors at the rear added to any model above the ST entry level for £250.

There will be five colours offered for the exterior of the Ford Fiesta ST-3 when it is launched, Race Red, Frozen White, Panther Black, Molten Orange and Spirit Blue, with the offer of Molten Orange or Smoke Storm for the interior theme depending on which paint scheme has been chosen.

Power will be coming from the 1.6 litre EcoBoost engine from Ford again, paired with a manual sic speed gearbox that will offer 180 brake horsepower and 290 newton metres of torque. This will see the hot hatch manage the 0-62 mile per hour sprint in a respectable 6.9 seconds as it makes it's way to it's top speed of 139 miles per hour.

The Ford Fiesta has of course been one of the most successful models in the UK over the past 12 to 24 months as the model continues to sell and remain at the top of the sales charts.

The Ford Fiesta ST-2's economy, according to recent figures have been carried over to the new model unchanged, at 47.9 miles per gallon fuel economy and 138g emissions. The brand new top of the range Ford Fiesta ST-3 is on sale right now, with delivery starting in June.
