Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake Revealed

Jaguar have announced that the brand new XFR-S Sportbrake model will be going on sale later this year. The new model is set to go head to head with the likes of Aston Martin and BMW as the model looks to gain the upper hand in the congested market.

The vehicle is a much wider version than the standard X models of which it is based upon. We believe that this is obviously going to produce a lot of interior space making this car fit for all purposes. Jaguar have tipped the model to provide high quality and high performance measures in order to put rival models into the background. The Brtish based firm have also been focusing on reducing emissions on models and are to release a brand new 3 Series rival in the future.

What makes the Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake something special?

The new Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake model will be powered by the newly developed 5.0 litre V8 engine.  The new addition to range of engines at Jaguar will be capable of producing 542 units of brake horsepower and will therefore make the sprint from 0 to 62 miles per hour in a time of just 4.8 seconds. The top speed of the car reaches 186 miles per hour. The model will be made available in only a rear wheel drive format but, we are pleased to report it also comes fully fitted with an eight speed automatic transmission system too.

As you would expect with a top of the range Jaguar, a number of fixtures and fittings come as standard as the likes of 20 inch alloy wheels, a 12 speaker Meridian sound system and sports style seating are fitted upon the model.

When can you expect to see the Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake on the road?

We are pleased to have learnt from Jaguar owners directly that, the model will be officially available to purchase from April of this year from your closest Jaguar dealership and you will be able to make the investment into a brand new Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake at a cost of £82,495.
