New Mercedes GLS - Porsche 911 GT3 RS - Infiniti Q60 Concept

Some big news today regarding Mercedes Benz is that for the first time ahead of its official reveal to the public at the Detroit motor show in January, the brand new GLS model has been spied testing on public roads. It was a number of weeks ago that Mercedes announced the renaming of their entire range and this is one of the first models to be affected by the renaming with the GLS as it will now be known replacing the traditional GL.

Minimal disguise was used on the tested SUV meaning that a range of new exterior features such as LED headlights, a new grille and a redesigned front bumper were all sighted. A brand new infotainment system and new fabrics are expected to be put into use inside of the car but no more is known about this as of this moment in time. We believe that the engine range to come along with the car will be exactly the same as the current GL but minor tweaks are expected to come into play. We are looking forward to a full specification and pricing reveal for the motor from next months Detroit auto show.

The Infiniti Q60 to be revealed next month

The Q60 concept machine from the Infiniti brand has been a car in the headlines for the past number of months and now the firm have revealed an image of the car which shows it in a silhouette image revealing just little details of the car. We are also excited to hear of the news that the Q60 will receive its grand unveiling for the first time next month from Detroit.

This model from Infiniti will come in the form of a two door coupe and it expected that if the car is to reach production in the future, this will remain the same. America received the Q60 this year and the future of the car in the UK has been somewhat unknown as of yet but the company certainly have the desire to release the vehicle onto European markets in the future. As for now, news on the car is being kept quiet but Infiniti have confirmed that they will reveal more on the Q60 concept model closer to the vehicles reveal next month.

The Porsche 911 GT3 RS spotted testing in the snow

German car firm Porsche have been spotted carrying out tests on a new 911 GT3 RS model in the snow. It is believed that our first official taste of the car could arrive as early as next year with a launch expected to follow sometime after. With the car being an RS model, one of the obvious changes that can be found in the car is the power source.

We see that with the GT3 RS, Porsche have included a 3.8 litre, flat six engine with the power output of the car now expected to come in at somewhere around the 500bhp area. Porsche have recently been hinting at other power orientated vehicles which means that the Cayman or the Boxster could be brought into play so we may see the new line up introduced either in Detroit or Geneva next year. As soon as more is revealed about the new 911 GT3 RS we will keep you informed.
