Images of the brand new updated Toyota Yaris have been leaked online after being scanned and uploaded from a Japanese brochure. Toyota officials have since confirmed a number of styling changes on the Yaris model following the images being posted online.
The Japanese mass market manufacturer who have had an up and down 12 months have stated that both internal and external changes on the model will be made and arriving in the UK in the next number of months. The Toyota firm also announced that they expect orders for the model to commence during the month of May.
The number one best selling car manufacturer in the world, Toyota, also announced that they will not be increasing prices on the Yaris model despite there being a number of costly changes. The Toyota Yaris model is readily available at just under ten thousand pounds, however, in the number of months leading up to the change over in models, do expect prices for the outgoing Yaris model to drop.
Last year, the firm proudly retained the top spot in the worlds car market having beat Vauxhall owners, General Motors and the Volkswagen Group to the crown. However, this year the Volkswagen Group have posted an increase in sales of over 4% and expect to reach the 10 million new car sales mark before the end of the year.
The German manufacturer have released a number of new models including models in the Audi range that hope to to increase the number of new models sold. This year we have already seen the new TT model and the S1 model grace the Geneva Motor Show with the pair both expected to join the new car market later this year.
Most recently, the Toyota brand have updated the small city Aygo model in order to increase sales figures to rival and compete with that achieved by the Volkswagen Group.
