This week brings us the news from French car brand Renault and it is in regards to their popular selling people carrier, the Captur. Just yesterday the brand revealed that they are introducing a brand new top of the range trim level for the vehicle and it will be marketed under the name of the Signature. The vehicle will now receive some changes to the body work of the car and some standard fittings to the exterior, some brand new changes to the inside including advancements in technology and both petrol and diesel units will also go on sale with the vehicle.

The Captur has been an ideal competitor when it goes to standing tall along side the likes of the Peugeot 2008 and the Citroen C4. Both of which are from French brands also. Does the new trim level for the Captur provide the brand with that added bit of edge to climb the ladder of popular selling vehicle on European markets?

Power between the units vary from 89 brake horse power for the 0.9 where as the 1.2 delivers on 118bhp. Your diesel alternative however is a 1.5 litre dCI developing 89 brake horse power.

Now with a look at some of the great new changes made to the interior of the vehicle, we see that part leather upholstery is a brand new feature as are brand new door plates and colouring added to the air vents, dashboard and the centre console in the cabin. Added pieces of kit technology wise are another advancement on the vehicles predecessor as we see that the French car firm have decided to include automatic climate control,a set of rear parking sensors, traction control, Bluetooth,USB connectivity and a sat nav system too.
