Alfa Romeo have today come out and revealed the pricing structure of their new Sprint addition to their Giulietta range and have also confirmed some of the specifications to come along with the car. It has been a big week for Alfa as they also launched their new Business model in the Giulietta line up. The new Sprint is certainly a special model for the company as it officially marks the 60th anniversary for their Giulietta models. A launch time of early 2015 for the vehicle has been announced by the Italian car maker and a starting cost of £20,490 has been announced. Specification wise, the mass manufacture have announced that just one engine will be offered with the car which will come in the form of a Multi Air petrol unit. 148Bhp is the confirmed output and a top speed limit of 130mph has also been put in place. Looking into some of the neat gadgets you can expect to receive with the Sprint, the fittings of some highlights such as Alcantara upholstery,a leather steering wheel,tinted windows and carbon look door panels are also confirmed.

 

Bentley invest into new headquarters

Bentley have announced that they are to invest a total of £40 million into a brand new expansion for their headquarters based in Crewe. The brand new development will also bring in 300 new job vacancies for staff in the new headquarters. Eleven acres of area has been confirmed for the expansion of the new premises and in total 1,300 staff will be working in the plant. The brand new SUV model from the firm will be made in these new premises and there is potential for the new Grand Convertible machine recently confirmed for production may be made here also. Without a doubt this is a big deal not just for Bentley Motors but for the car industry in general and we look forward to the opening of the new premises for Bentley which will occur from near the end of 2015.

 

Volkswagen tease a new five seater crossover

Volkswagen have teased a brand new crossover model which will come in the form of a five seater and it is to be revealed in full from next months Detroit auto show. The motor at this stage in time just a concept vehicle but given the right amount of positive feedback, there is strong potential of future production for the car. At the moment, plans are for the car to go on sale in the United States with no news as of yet regarding whether the SUV model would reach European shores. Production is believed to commence between 2016 and 2017 but no confirmation has been issued on this as of yet. As soon as we receive more news on the concept model we will keep you updated.
