This month brings us the LA motor show 2014 and from this years show we are all set to receive two brand new reveals from the BMW brand who ahead of their debut in Los Angeles have revealed the new X5 and X6 M models. The X5 and X6 are two of the most popular SUV models that the firm have on offer right now and these two brand new M models mark the second generation of these models. The two vehicles have been revealed by the brand ahead of their official debut with some news regarding the engine line up to come along with the vehicles and what kind of power output these cars pack.

The X5 was first put into production in 1999 and was the brands first ever 4x4 vehicle to go on sale. It was in 2007 that we first seen the arrival of the X6 on the road and it has without a doubt been one of the most influential vehicles to be made available on the SUV market. It has brought some top competition to other companies such as Nissan with the Qashqai who have topped the SUV market over recent years. So what will these two brand new additions bring to the table that will help the SUV market continue to grow both in terms of units and popularity?.

A launch control system has also been included with both vehicles which help out when it comes to that 4.2 second sprint.

An eight speed, double clutch automatic transmission system also comes fitted now to both vehicles as standard. Both platforms are also all wheel drive models.
