Mercedes have today revealed two brand new vehicles which have been introduced in order to begin their brand new range of AMG Sport models. At the big motoring event from Detroit today, the company took to the stage to reveal the C 450 AMG Sport and the GLE 450 Coupe AMG with one of the biggest differences being that the C450 AMG Sport is offered in either a saloon or an estate variation.

 

Mercedes have taken the spotlight at day one in Detroit by revealing their C Class hybrid and new GLE SUV style vehicle So with this brand new range being introduced they are looking to appeal to their fan base more in need of a sporty vehicle. It is believed that this move has been made in order to keep the competition with the likes of BMW fresh as they offer a vast range of sports models as do their rival firm Audi. So what do these new AMG Sport range models consist of that could help Mercedes Benz to hold a firm position in the car market this year?

 

A look into what will make the new Mercedes range fun

With the range being specifically aimed at delivering a much sportier performance than ever before, Mercedes have announced that in both new vehicles, the fitting of a three litre, V6 engine which has been previously used in the C400. 367 and 369 brake horse power is the overall deliverance between the two vehicles and they are also updated with some of the latest in technology and driving aid systems including a four wheel drive platform as one of our personal highlights.

 

Body changes and design structure

We all know just how well Mercedes and AMG partnering up has benefited the vast range of vehicles in the division and both parties are looking to make the new models even more special. This has also been achieved by making changes to the bodywork and design structure of the vehicles compared to their predecessors. The front grille on both vehicles has received some adjustments as have the colour matched bumpers. Prices and a launch time for the models has not yet been confirmed but we do know that the new range will see the development of more updated vehicles in the near future. The new AMG Sport range could certainly be one to keep an eye out for in 2015.
