Nissan Pulsar Details

In some exciting news today to come out of the Japanese owned car company Nissan, we are pleased to report that the manufacturer has recently come out with some brand new information regarding prices and specs for the new Pulsar hatchback model. The vehicle was announced a number of months ago but specs and other information was somewhat limited at the time.

Now we have all of the latest information on this brand new model from Nissan. Over the past number of years we have seen models such as the Juke and the Qashqai prove to be key sellers for the manufacturer and have gone on to be some of the most dominant vehicles available in our roads today. Can the new Pulsar model achieve as much success though when it is launched?

The new specs and features announced for the Nissan Pulsar Hatchback

We will start off with a look into the engine ranges on offer and what they can provide. Firstly we see the welcome addition of a 1.2 litre petrol engine that also comes turbo charged it will put out 113 brake horse power and it is the same engine that has been previously used in the brand new Juke Crossover model. Your other option as far as engines go is the 1.5 litre turbo diesel engine that produces a total of 109bhp and is a front wheel drive variant.

With both variants of the car, customers will be offered the choice of either a six speed transmission as standard or the option of a 'Xtronic' CVT automatic will be made available too. From early on in 2015 it has also been stated that a 1.6 litre engine will also go on offer which will produce 189 brake horse power.

Some neat features that we think could help benefit this car well come in the form of LED running lights, 17 inch alloy wheels, tinted glass, keyless entry, automatic wipers and dusk sensing lights are just some of the added pieces of equipment to go on sale. Some ideal rivals going up against the new Pulsar also include the likes of the Ford Focus ST and the Volkswagen Golf GTI.

What's the price range on the Nissan Pulsar Hatchback?

The official starting price that will come along with the new Pulsar will come in at £15,995 with the highest spec Pulsar model set to come in at £20,345.
