Today has brought in the addition of a leaked image of the Mercedes AMG GT Edition 1 model which is all set to debut at the Paris motor show next week and within the past hour another Mercedes model planned for a Paris debut next week has been leaked and it comes in the shape and form of the AMG C63 Edition 1. This has been confirmed to be the range topping version of the AMG C63 line up.
The images of the car that have been leaked online today show all angles of the exterior of the car and the interior of the vehicle too. Both a saloon and an estate version of the car have been confirmed to go on sale from the time of launch which is all set to occur in February of next year. It has been reported that the order books for the vehicle will officially open up here in Britain and across other markets from next month.
So in regards to some of the unique specialities and specifications we can expect to find in this brand new Mercedes model, we can tell from the images of the car that have been leaked today that a brand new set of 19 inch wheels will come along with the vehicle and a brand new revised rear bumper with a carbon fibre spoiler will also be nice new features. The interior images of the car shown today also show some great features that could potentially be some key selling points in the future when the car is launched.
We can see from the images that AMG performance seating will come as part of the package with other AMG elements coming into play such as the flat bottomed steering wheel floor mats and red seat belts. Much like is used in the Volvo XC90, fully leather Nappa upholstery will also be included with the design of the C63 AMG Edition 1.
Now one of the extra features that we have been looking into since the news broke is the engine range that will come along with the car and if it tells us anything its that the power and performance rates of the machine are just as important to Mercedes and the customer as the comfort side of things. The image reveals a 4.0 litre V8, Twin turbocharged unit will accompany the C63 AMG Edition 1 and will give the car a total power output of 503 brake horse power.
Mercedes are currently playing their cards close to their chest at this moment in time regarding how much the vehicle will actually sell for when it is to go on sale. We do expect though that the saloon version of the car will officially go on sale with a price tag of around the £60,000 area. Order books for the car will open up this coming October and the first set of deliveries of the vehicle are expected to arrive in showrooms from February 2015.
