In some exciting news today concerning one of the Ford brands biggest selling vehicles of all time, we are pleased to inform you of the good news that the brand new estate version of the Focus has officially gone on sale and has had a lot of focus aimed at the technology features and fuel efficiency compared to previous additions to the line up.

The Focus for a total of eleven years was the biggest selling car in the United Kingdom from the year 1999 onwards. It has won many awards over this time and it still proving to be just as successful today as it was when it was first launched. The new Focus estate is a car that could bring the competition to vehicles such as the Volkswagen Golf estate and the Leon ST from Spanish manufacturer Seat. All new changes also find their way into the interior of the car and the exterior too. Some brand new features of the Focus estate could also have a key role to play when it comes down to successful sales rates for the car.

Introducing the features of the brand new Focus Estate

So regarding those alterations that have been made to the vehicle and what you can expect to find in the car that's new compared to the previous addition to the range, a brand new front grille is thrown into the mix as are a brand new restyled set of headlights. An all new steering wheel is also included with the new estate variant which comes with controls for the car fitted to it. Every trim level in the line up also receives a brand new eight inch touch screen apart from the entry level version. The highest spec range is the Titanium line up which we see come with the fitting of Ford's SYNC set up which allows the driver and passengers to control the temperature inside the car and the choice of music. Voice controlled sat nav features also come in handy with the SYNC system. An all round smoother driving experience has also been focused on by Ford and we see this demonstrated by the inclusion of electric power steering and a retuned suspension system.

One of the best engine ranges to go on sale with the car and the one that we think the most drivers will opt for is the addition of the 2.0 litre, four cylinder turbo diesel unit. If you take this and the standard six speed transmission system into consideration we see an output of 148bhp which helps the front wheel drive Focus make the sprint from 0 to 62 miles per hour in a good steady time of 8.8 seconds which then progresses on to reach an overall top speed limitation of 131mph.

Pricing for the new Focus estate

A purchase price of £24,435 comes along with the 2.0 litre range which in our opinion is certainly good value for money. As for when you can drive away in a new Focus estate, we are delighted to inform you of some more good news that, the car can be bought and driven away from your local Ford dealership today.
