If you have a spare £866,000 McLaren have the car for you!

The wait is nearly over as McLaren have released the prices for their super hybrid which will be available worldwide from March 2013. Normally known for Motorsport and the ultimate formula one vehicles the super brand have entered the world of hybrid with bang! Never a brand to not want to push limits they are set to release what we think is the worlds most expensive hybrid. So, if you have a spare £866,000 the new McLaren suer hybrid could be the ultimate car for you.

In ever so McLaren style the total production is limited to just 375 vehicles.

It is done so they say "to maintain exclusivity". So what do you get for your £866,000? The McLaren is driven by a 3.8 litre twin turbo petrol engine combined with an electric motor which means that it can provide a combined 903 BHP.  The super car has not compromised of performance either with a 0-60 in less than 3 seconds with a top speed of 218 mph. It is reported that McLaren has been able to keep the styling close to the concept car it originally unveiled at the Paris Motor Show. The super brand is convinced that the P1 will be the first road car to be able to offer a genuine formula one driving experience. With automatically controlled rear-mounted wing it can increase down force to 600kg when driven at speed.

There are many features carried over to the super hybrid vehicle from Mclaren Formula 1 cars

There are many special features which McLaren already adopt on their formula one cars. The super car will be one sale only 3 in specially designated dealerships in the UK.
