Information revealed on the all new BMW 2 Series Active tourer


In some of the latest breaking news today to make it's way out of the German car manufacturing company known as BMW, we are pleased to report on the latest news to be revealed regarding specs and pricing of the all new BMW 2 series Active Tourer model from the mass manufacturer.

 

BMW are one of the world's leading brand's when it comes to designing and producing the perfect all round car and we have seen them have success time and time again with models such as the likes of the 220d, the M4 and the I3. So what is so special about this particular model and why do we think that the wait is worth it?

So what has been revealed about the production on this car and why could this model have the potential to be a top flight contender for the top spots going up against the likes of Audi, Mercedes and Lexus? Well it has been confirmed that in regards to engines, you can expect to receive,the choice of two engines. The first engine comes your way in the form of a 1.5 litre three cylinder that will produce a power output of 134 brake horse power. Your second engine option will be the 2.0 litre Diesel that that will produce a slightly higher 148 brake horse power. It is also expected that shortly after the vehicles official launch, all wheel drive variants of the car will also go on sale.

 

In regards to some other features and key selling points that come along with this car, you can also expect to receive, wireless Bluetooth connectivity, rear parking sensors, a DAB digital radio,a leather steering wheel and a keyless go system will also come thrown in as part of the package also.

 

When will the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer see a launch?

It has been stated that this model will go on sale here in the UK and across other various countries from September of this year and it is expected to launch with a starting cost of £22,150 ranging upwards depending on extras and engine size.
