Jaguar SUV to be released in 2016

Jaguar SUV 2016

Since the Frankfurt Motor Show last year, the Jaguar SUV model has been in development but has not been given a release date to go along with the model. The SUV was the best model at that particular motor show and since then has sparked a number of manufacturers into the SUV car market.

The C-X17 SUV model is yet to be named but will go up against the likes of the Porsche Macan model as well as the likes of the Aston Martin Lagonda. Aston Martin have been on and off in terms of the production of the Lagonda model but since the attention received by the Jaguar model, Aston have officially confirmed the production of the SUV model.

The model is believed to be based on the baby Discovery model currently being produced by Land Rover. The Jaguar Land Rover firm have been one of the most successful firms in the past couple of years as the Range Rover brand has helped them grow and move into markets such as the US Car Market and the Chinese car market.

The new baby Jaguar SUV model will be one of the most eagerly anticipated models in the next couple of years. The amount of interest already declared in the model has inspired other manufacturers to develop their own rival.

Volkswagen who have first hand experience of the success in the SUV market with the likes of the Volkswagen Tiguan model and the Porsche Macan amongst other models, have decided to build new SUV models for the Seat and the Skoda range of models.

Seat have only recently announced that they will be building a new SUV model alongside Skoda on the current Porsche SUV platform. The SUV and the Crossover market have been one of the most in demand and rising car markets in the last number of years and it is clear to see that the likes of the Jaguar and Aston Martin SUV models will only increase the demand.
