Next week will mark the beginning of the Chicago Motor Show which will feature the very best in some new models from some of the worlds top manufacturers. Some of the vehicles confirmed for the event so far come from Toyota who have teased a new Avalon model and Camry and Corolla special edition vehicles. Next up to add themselves into the mix are Kia who have stated that live from the event next week, they will be revealing an all new electric SUV model that will run on an all wheel drive platform. The style of this concept vehicle is said to be heavily influenced by that of the Soul model but so far information regarding features of the vehicle and other specifications are being kept quiet by Kia. No news has been given as of whether this car will become a production model in the future or even for how much the vehicle would be expected to go on sale for. We do expect to hear more about the vehicle though when it is revealed in Chicago on Thursday.
A new sports pack for Mini models
Are you a big fan of the Mini range but a little put off by the equipment?. Fear not as Mini have the perfect package for you. The firm have announced this week that they are offering a brand new Sports package for both their three and five door standard Mini models which sees some new features and gadgets that could have you spending on a new car in the future. The changes this kit adds is to the outside and inside of the car and if you decide to purchase this upgrade, you will also be thrilled to know you will be receiving a new sports suspension system also.
How is the Mini Sports pack exterior and interior looking with the changes?
Outside of the car we see the sport kit adding a new spoiler,either Black or Silver seventeen inch alloy wheels and Black striping located across the length of the bonnet. Inside of the car you will see cloth material or a full leather upholstery up for grabs aswell as new floor mats fitted specifically for the Sports package. Automatic headlights,rain sensing windscreen wipers and a dual zone climate control system all feature. Prices kick off at £18,250 for the standard three door model with the pack being added to the Cooper five door, top of the range model for £23,350.
