New York Motor Show 2014 – Preview

We at Shortfall plan to bring you all of the latest news and reviews from the New York Motor Show in the next couple of weeks, but first we have constructed a page based on what new models to expect at the New York Motor Show.

The New York Motor Show is to commence on the 16th of April and you can expect a host of models to grab the headlines including the M4 Convertible which is due to join the car market later this year.

As well as the M4 Convertible, the BMW brand are also expected to take the new X4 model to the New York Motor Show as the brand looks to fight the success of the Audi brand. It is believed that the new M4 Convertible model will start at a price of just £60,730 and will join the market in September.

Jaguar Land Rover have been the trend setters in the past number of motor shows, including the appearance by the Range Rover Sport at last years New York Motor Show. This year the Land Rover brand are set to reveal the new Discovery Vision concept which is again set to retain a considerable amount of headlines.

Mazda are also set to unveil the latest MX-5 model which was co-developed with the Fiat Group. It was originally announced that the Fiat brand would build a model alongside the MX-5 and release it under the Alfa Romeo name. However, it has been rumoured that the Fiat brand have not yet decided on whether or not to give the roadster model to the Alfa range or expand the growing range of Abarth badged models.

The third generation of the Nissan Murano is also set to be released following the New York Motor Show. It was rumoured last week that the Murano model may be making the switch to the UK due to the level of success the Qashqai and the Juke models have received over the past 24 months.
