Alfa Romeo 4C Spider-VW 2014 sales-JLR create new jobs


Jaguar Land Rover have announced that they are to create a total of 1,300 new job vacancies in their Solihull factory. The new job vacancies have been opened in order to help with the increased demand that the British firm are expected to receive for their new F Pace SUV model which is expected to be a good seller and their new XE model. Jaguar have recently been busy designed much more lightweight materials for their vehicles including the uses of aluminium and it is believed that these new job openings will also see the staff work hard with this new direction in which Jaguar are taking the company also.

 

Volkswagen hit ten million sales

A record making statistic for Volkswagen has this week been announced which shows that for the first time ever, the Volkswagen group have officially hit ten million sales world wide. These new sales figures for 2014 affect all companies operating under the Volkswagen group and 10.14 million in total were announced sales wise. This is definitely a great achievement for the company as they outlined a plan to sell this figure by the year 2018 meaning that they were four yeas ahead of schedule. A rise of 4.2 percent was revealed from the previous year of 2013 and with the new Golf R set to go this year, the company are hoping to bring in even higher sales figures than what they have previously achieved. It is to be an exciting year for Volkswagen and our congratulations go out to them for their hard work and achievements they have brought to the car industry.

 

The Alfa Romeo 4c Spider gets an early leak

Italian's Alfa Romeo are to introduce the world to its new sports car developed this week in Detroit, the 4c Spider. With much anticipation surrounding the car and the firm looking forward to revealing it, an early leaked image of the vehicle has been put online which shows the car in what is believed to be its full production format. No specifications came along with the image just the picture itself. The vehicle is seen receiving some slight changes to a concept model that has previously been revealed. It is shown in a Yellow paint job,a black folding fabric roof,clustered lights at the rear looking like LED lights and body creasing along the doors,bonnet and back end which have been included to make the car more agile and performance based. With these features being shown thanks to the snapshot, we are very interested to see what performance rates are to be announced for the car when it is revealed this week.
