An all new Citroen C4 Cactus crossover has arrived

In some news today regarding a recent release of a vehicle crossover from the Citroen brand, we are pleased to report that the United Kingdom now benefits from a brand new C4 Cactus crossover model which arrives in the shape and form of the brand new C4 Cactus Puretech 110 Flair. The main changes made to this version of the car compared to that of the first is the changes made to the engine which now comes turbocharged. A majority of features carry over from the standard kit that comes with the original C4 Cactus.

We seen the arrival of the C4 Cactus happen earlier on this year and it was produced over in Madrid Spain. The same platform used in the C3 and DS3 is used in the C4 Cactus and a new one off design was used for the exterior of the car. The standard equipment to come along with the C4 Cactus included the likes of automatic temperature control,a panoramic glass sunroof and cruise control. These features carry over to the new crossover version of the car but what changes are developed from the new turbocharged engine?

The new performance aspect of the Citroen C4 Cactus crossover

So regarding the new line up of engines that have been included with the C4 Crossover, we see that the French company behind the idea have included the fitting of a turbo charged 1199cc engine which sees the car deliver on a new power output of 108 brake horse power which helps the C4 Cactus crossover to reach an all round top speed limit of 117 miles per hour.

This is benefited by the time in which it takes the car to reach the 62 miles per our area from the get go which can be achieved in a steady time of 9.3 seconds. A five speed manual gearbox also comes along with the crossover as standard. If you prefer a petrol engine to a diesel then the Cactus crossover could very well be ideal for you.

Since the C4 was launched we have seen it lock horns with the likes of the 2008 from French firm Peugeot and other similar variants from the likes of the Toyota company and Ford. With the new turbo charged engines that have gone into this crossover vehicle, we certainly think this will prove to be the case into the future.

What have Citroen put the new C4 Cactus Crossover on sale for?

Well we are firstly delighted to inform that this all new C4 Cactus crossover vehicle is available to drive away from selected Citroen dealerships today in your area. In regards to the price tag that comes along with the vehicle, be prepared to pay a total cost of £17,190 for this brand new addition to the Citroen family.
