How does the Mustang arriving in the UK affect the car market?

Well it is no secret that the Ford Mustang will make an impact on the UK car market this year when it arrives here in Britain for the very first time. It is a muscle car that has proven to be one of the best sellers that Ford has on offer over in the United States. The very first Mustang was produced in 1964 and now over fifty years later the car will make history by going on sale in the UK. This will mark the sixth generation of the Mustang for America but the very first for Europe. The new model has been seen across various motoring events in 2014 and with a grand launch for the car occurring during the Autumn season, how will this affect car sales in Britain and could it prove to be just as popular here as it has in the States?.

What equipment does the new Mustang have to offer?

With the Mustang being the muscle car we have all been waiting for, it is only right that we start off by looking at what the model has on offer underneath the bonnet. There are a total of three engines on offer that the buyer can opt for and these include an entry level 2.0 litre,Ecoboost engine putting out a power of 310 horse power. A V8 five litre engine is also on the cards seeing an increase from 310 up to 412bhp. Your third and final offering is the V8 fitted to a convertible Mustang using the same V8 as the five litre but available with either a manual or automatic transmission.

The car offers excellence both inside and outside. Looking at the Mustang from the outside is the LED rear lighting,Xenon headlights at the front and alloy wheels measuring nineteen inches. The Mustang is offered with much interior technical equipment also which could prove to be the benefactor for a sale. Climate control is offered in a dual zone format and an eight inch touchscreen in colour with Ford's new SYNC 2 voice recognition software.

How many competitors does the Ford Mustang have?

With the Ford Mustang being a very powerful machine, we look forward to the kind of competition that awaits the car when it goes on sale. We see challenges awaiting the American model from the Audi A5 and the Impreza WRX from Subaru. With prices starting from £28,995 this is your perfect opportunity to own a piece of vehicle history in the Mustang for a good reasonable selling price.
