Is a Nissan Juke R Nismo on the agenda?
Alongside the Qashqai, the Juke has quickly become one of the most exciting and best offering vehicles that Nissan offer as a part of their line up. It has proven to be a sales success ever since it was first put on sale back in 2010 and has also found success in terms of awards. The car made a quick sprint and now holds the Guinness world record for its drive around the track at the Goodwood festival of speed where it officially clocked a time of 2:55. Speaking of the Goodwood festival, this years big event is on the way and how fitting is it that Nissan will be bringing along yet another Juke model to make its grand debut from the big motoring event.
Nissan bringing out the big guns at Goodwood
That's right, the Juke will make its return to Goodwood this year but not quite in the manner you may of expected. Are you a lover of special R performance models and quite like the Nissan Nismo variety?. Then your luck is in as the brand have teased a brand new Juke R Nismo to debut at the festival and have confirmed its debut date for the 25th of June. The news at the moment is that the car will only be shown in concept form and for the moment, we are still none the wiser as to whether the car will actually make it into production form later on down the line. We have seen many Nismo models become a success which include the 370Z and the GT-R, could the Juke R be the next in line?.
What would the Nissan Juke R Nismo consist of?
In terms of what specifications the new Juke R Nismo will feature,no technical information has been given by the brand as of yet just the tease of the new and its front design revealed in minor detail. A turbocharged engine would of course be expected to go on offer. All we saw from the teased image was the larger wheel arches, air intakes which have increased in size compared to that of the standard Juke and new spoiler design at the front of the car. It will be interested to see what engines and power the car will be giving out and we can only hope that it goes on sale in the future.
