Pricing for the Peugeot 308 SW estate has been announced, with customers able to choose between four petrol and five diesel engines, as well as four trim levels. These trim levels are Access, Active, Allure and Feline.
The Peugeot 308 SW trim levels
The basic trim level is the Access model, starting from £16,845. These can be powered by either a 1.2 litre petrol or two 1.6 litre diesels which produce 92 or 115 brake horse power . Both diesels qualify for free road tax, while the petrol model costs £20 to tax annually. The Access variant comes with LED daytime running lights, LED rear lights, air conditioning, cruise control, a DAB digital radio and remote central locking as standard. The model also gains colour coded door handles and mirrors.
The next trim level is the Active, starting from £18,295. Power for these models come from the same engines as the Access variant, though it also gains a more powerful 130 brake horse power petrol and two diesel engines, a 120 brake horse power and a 150 brake horse power unit. This trim adds sat nav, automatic headlights and wipers, rear parking sensors, an electronic handbrake, climate control and 16 inch alloy wheels.
Peugeot's Allure trim starts at £19,745 and adds full LED headlights, front fog lights, front parking sensors, electric folding door mirrors and a reversing camera to the Active's equipment. The same engines power this vehicle but buyers can combine a diesel engine with Peugeot's new six speed automatic gearbox.
The top of the range Feline spec is priced from £22,095 for the 1.2 litre 130 brake horse power petrol fitted with a six speed manual gearbox. This trim offers 18 inch alloy wheels, an alcantara leather interior, keyless go, active cruise control that can match the speed of the car in front while keeping a safe distance, emergency collision alert, Peugeot's emergency collision braking system and autonomous emergency braking.

All 308 SWs gain a huge 610 litre boot, which beats rivals such as the Volkswagen Golf at 605 litres and the Ford Focus at 476 litres.
The new Peugeot 308 SW will go on sale on May 1st, with first deliveries expected to begin from June 19th 2014.
