In some news today regarding top car brand Range Rover, we are pleased to report on the latest goings on involving the Range Rover Sport model. It has been confirmed by the company directly that the model is all set to receive a new set of upgrades for 2015 which include tweaks to the power and Torque output and some new additional pieces of equipment also.
Range Rover the world leader in SUV models have had much success over the years and established themselves as one of if not the front runner on the SUV market. We have seen the mass manufacturer demonstrate their knowledge of a good all round performing car time and time again. This has been demonstrated by the success that has come along with models such as the Evoque and the Defender amongst many more. The SUV market in 2014 is seeing more additions from multiple brands than ever before. So what new changes have found their way into the Range Rover Sport to help it maintain it's status on the car market and even against rival companies such as Audi?
The new changes coming to the Range Rover Sport
So what brand new tweaks and changes find their way into this brand new addition to the line up and should you choose to spend your money on a revamped Range Rover Sport when it is officially released? Well regarding the power produced from the engine, we see that the 4.4 litre, SDV8 engine is carried over from the previous model but the amount of Torque developed has been increased to 740NM. Power is also put out at 334bhp. As standard for the newly upgraded Range Rover Sport, you can also expect to receive an eight speed,automatic transmission system also.
Now as for features and new additional pieces of equipment, we see that this model is also fully fitted with 19 inch satin Grey alloy wheels. The longer wheel base variants will receive 22 inch alloy wheels. Brand new updated puddle lights,in control apps and Wifi also make their arrival to the Range Rover Sport. Can companies such as BMW and Mercedes top this though or could this new addition of changes to the Sport help set it out as the must own car for any SUV enthusiast?
When can you purchase the updated Range Rover Sport?
Although an exact release date is still yet to be confirmed at this moment in time, you will be able order this particular model from the 16th of July this year which is tomorrow. As for a price tag, nothing has been stated as of yet but expect to hear more over the course of the next few months.
