Aston Martin have confirmed that their design called the DBX has been officially given the green light and the car will officially go into production. The new model is not expected to debut for the next few years which gives the firm plenty of time to perfect the model just the way they want it. The new model will make history for the brand by being their very first suv model ever produced. This model will come as a result of a £200 million investment from the brand into making their cars more luxurious than ever before. Our first taste of the DBX came from the Geneva Motor Show were it was shown in concept vehicle form but for the moment, no word has been given regarding how much we can expect the vehicle to change when it comes to launching the production version. One thing is for sure, with Bentley releasing the Bentayga and Rolls Royce with their new suv, Aston Martin will certainly be looking to bring the fight to the suv market.
BMW travel more upmarket
News is now public that from September of this year, the BMW brand will offer every single brand new vehicle with a sat nav system as standard. There are no exceptions as all new models will be offered with the systems. Other items have also been added as standard which include Bluetooth connectivity,a DAB digital radio and emergency call assistance too. The sat nav system to be offered with all models has been confirmed to measure 6.5 inches in size and a larger 8.8 inch screen sat nav will also be open to all customers wanting to upgrade their models. All of these changes come into effect for the entire range in September and could work as a strong influence for drivers to spend their money on a BMW car for the extras that will come along with it also.
