In some exciting car industry news today to break out of the American owned car company Chevrolet,we are pleased to report on the latest vehicle to be announced by the brand which comes your way in the manner of the all new Corvette Z06 model which is all set for an official reveal at the New York motor show this year and will be released here in Europe too despite the withdrawal of the brand over the past recent months.

Over the years we have seen Chevrolet become one of the most established named brands over the water in the States but can they hit it off big time here in the UK with this all new Corvette model ?. Does it have the potential to be a big seller here in Britain?

What you need to know about the Chevrolet Corvette Z06

So with that being said, what has gone into this car during its time on the production line to truly make it stand out amongst the rest and, why should you choose to make the investment into it at the official time of launch over anything else on offer from both the new and used car market from rival brands such as the likes of Vauxhall, Nissan or Toyota? Well firstly with what has been stated from company bosses so far, we will see the additions of a supercharged 6.2 litre V8 engine that will overall put out 625 units of brake horse power. The model will be available with an eight speed automatic transmission system as standard but, at the time of purchase customers will also have the choice of opting for a seven speed, manual transmission system too.

The ZO6 will come your way as a convertible machine with a base colour of blue. A carbon fibre front splitter and carbon fibre bonnet. It has also been stated that the new Corvette will also benefit from Carbon ceramic brakes too from Brembo.

The future for Chevrolet and the Corvette Z06

Even with Chevrolet withdrawing from European markets recently, the model will go on sale around parts of Europe including here in the UK however, the model will only be available here as a left hand drive. In regards to a price that will come along with the Z06 nothing has been confirmed as of yet but, we do expect to learn a lot more from this years New York motor show.
