In some of the latest news today to come out of the American car company known as Ford, we are pleased to report on some of the latest news regarding the companies all new Mustang model which will also make it's way here to the United Kingdom. The Mustang is one of the best muscle cars around and has been since the very first model was introduced back in 1964. It has seen off some tough competition from the likes of rival brand Nissan amongst many more over the years and now the very latest model will also arrive on UK roads.
Ford have officially announced some brand new performance rates for the car and we think that from what we have heard so far, this model could be set to be the best available yet and could very well be worth thinking about owning if the muscle car variety is your kind of vehicle.
What rates does the new Ford Mustang come along with?
So what is it that has been confirmed exactly for this brand new addition to the Ford line up that will help it stand out and make an impact? Well firstly we see that this new model will come complete with the welcome addition of a choice of three engine ranges. The first being the V6 which will only be made available in the US and two others which will make their way to our country which consist of the V8 and the all new Ecoboost engine. Each variation of the car will come with a choice of either a six speed manual transmission system or a six speed select shift automatic transmission.
The V6 engine available for US markets will come as a 2.3 litre,four cylinder and will benefit from 296 brake horse power along side 434NM of Torque. As far as the range topping V8 goes which will be made available here, we see the tank consist of a 5.0 litre engine which will produce a total of 429 brake horse power and will deliver on 542NM of Torque also. If you opt for the automatic transmission variant you can also expect to receive a brand new set of shift paddles for the steering wheel also.
Pricing and launch of the Ford Mustang 2015
Although an exact date is yet to be confirmed by Ford, it is expected that we will see this Mustang go on sale from selected Ford dealerships here in the UK from early next year. A price is expected to be revealed closer to the time of launch but it has been rumoured that the Mustang will start of from a price around £30,000.
