JD Power and What Car Super Mini Results for 2013.

The JD Power and What Car? results are some of the most sought after within the new car industry.

The reason being that they are awarded not by industry insiders and boffins instead results are based on what owners experience at dealership level.

A high rating in the awards can not only add kudos to the model but also be used at manufacture level in advertising campaigns.

The super mini segment is a growing and lucrative market for manufactures so where did your new car feature?

  1. Citroen DS3
  2. Honda Jazz
  3. Skoda Fabia
  4. Hyundai i20
  5. Volkswagen Polo
  6. Seat Ibiza
  7. Toyota Yaris
  8. Ford Fiesta
  9. Mini
  10. Audi A1

Bottom of the new car super mini list was the Alfa Romeo Mito.

This is great new for the French revival of Citroen who seem to have at last incorporate the style of the old DS models and the ultra high tech drive ability of modern new cars as they have for the first time knocked the Honda Jazz from the top spot.

Third position sees Skoda scooping yet another ward to add to their collection as both the superb and Yeti we also heavily featured in other segments.

Don't forget that the JD power results are based on feedback and satisfaction surveys completed by owners of the vehicles so should in theory provide valuable insight. However we must not forget that this also means that it is subjective and relies on customers perception of what is good and bad service.

Just because the Audi A1 only featured in 10th place does not mean that it is any less of a car instead it may have more to do with the owners expectations of service and value and what is and what is not acceptable,

That said it is a real life gauge and barometer.

Why not get in touch and lets us know what you think?

Will the position of a certain make or model will have any affect of the new car you buy?
