Jeep ready to launch the brand new Cherokee model next March

In a look today at some upcoming vehicle launches all set to occur, we are pleased to report on the upcoming launch of the all new Cherokee model which is all set to go sale across various parts of the world from March next year. The Cherokee is one of the flagship vehicles on offer from the American manufacturer along side other vehicles such as the Wrangler and the Renegade.

The Cherokee is perhaps the most recognisable though and this all new upcoming addition to the line up could very well be the best yet. So what has made the cut when it comes down to the overall production time that has been put on this addition to the range to help it stand tall against the likes of the Volkswagen Touareg and the Nissan Juke?

The new features and changes for the Jeep Cherokee

So what has gone into this model during production time? Well we know of the engine rates and some additional pieces of equipment that come along with the car and we start off with the engine. We see the use of a 2.0 litre, four cylinder, turbo diesel engine which is all set to produce a total power output of 168bhp and will produce 350NM of Torque. A nine speed automatic transmission system helps the new Cherokee reach top speeds of 119mph which is helped along by the 10.3 seconds it takes the car to hit 62 miles per hour from the get go. The new Cherokee will also be made available as only a four wheel drive variant.

Some new updates to the Jeep Cherokee include the likes of leather seats,a new powered tail gate and an 8.4 inch touch screen will also come as part of the deal.

How much will the Jeep Cherokee sell for in March?

£35,695 is the stated price tag that the new Cherokee will go on sale for brand new. In terms of when, expect to see this car made available from March of next year.
