In some upcoming vehicle release news today to make its way out of the well known and loved SUV car company known as Jeep, we are excited to report on one of the upcoming releases from the mass manufacturer which is all set to come your way in the form of the all new Cherokee Diesel model which will be all set to launch here in the UK and across other parts of the world from May of this year. Over the years Jeep have certainly proven to be one of the finest SUV makers around the world and we have seen some stiff competition as of late from the likes of Nissan with the Qashqai.

So with this in mind, it would indeed take something pretty special to make this one of the standout SUV models to be made available in both the new and used car industries so, what has gone into the Cherokee Diesel during its manufacturing process and why should you purchase to one over similar models from rival brands such as the likes of BMW with the X4? Well firstly, we see the warmly welcomed addition of a 2.0 litre four cylinder turbo diesel engine that overall puts out 168 brake horse power and will therefore hit top speeds overall of 119 miles per hour. The vehicle will also make the leap to 62 miles per hour in a time of just 10.3 seconds. The model comes complete with a four wheel drive format and does also come fully fitted with a nine speed automatic transmission system.
In regards to some added pieces of equipment you can expect to receive with your brand new Cherokee model, we see some key selling points here in our opinion and we see these come in the manner of parking sensors, a reversing camera, heated leather seating and an 8.4 inch touch screen also comes thrown in as part of the package too.
What is the going price for a Cherokee Diesel?
Firstly we are pleased to report that although we do not have an exact date, we do know that the Cherokee Diesel will be made available from next month in all good Jeep showroom's across the country. In regards to a price tag that comes along with the model expect to make the purchase on this brand new Cherokee for a cost of around £32,000.
