Citroen have introduced a range of brand new updates to their C4 range which sees some great new features added to the overall styling design of the vehicle aswell as new technology features and other highlights. The big news today though is that the French firm have officially opened up the order books on this brand new model which can be ordered from your nearest Citroen dealership today. It has been confirmed by Citroen that the newly revised model will be able to drive away from showrooms from this coming April in Europe. The C4 has definitely proven to be one of the most successful vehicles that the brand has ever launched in the UK with some recent success for the range coming from the C4 Cactus launched just last year. It has been a successful selling family style vehicle that has also won awards in the past such as European car of the year 2005 in its first lifecycle on the road. So what changes can Citroen possibly bring to the table as far as this new model is concerned to help it maintain its position in the current car market here in Britain?.
A host of new changes revealed for the Citroen C4
So to begin with, we think one of the biggest changes to be made to this range consists of the new exterior styling. The firm have revealed that the car now comes fitted with LED headlights, new chrome inserts, redesigned wheels and customers can also choose from a range of brand new colour options for the bodywork of the car. It is perhaps the range of new technology to come along with the car that help it stand out and make a difference though. The brand have now included some neat gadgets to come along with the model which include highlights such as a keyless entry system, traction control, blind spot monitoring and hill start assistance. The new model can also be chosen with either a manual or automatic six speed transmission. The same turbo diesel engines are also carried over to the new range meaning 1.4 litres to 2.0 litre petrol and diesel options are still up for grabs.
How much will the new C4 model cost?
Prices for this new model will begin at £14,645 for the entry level model with the range topping diesel model being made available in a Flair trim level at a figure of £20,045. The new model is set to maintain a strong place in the family vehicle market thanks to these changes which means that we can expect to see the C4 continue to be a top class rival going up against the likes of the Hyundai i30 and the Volkswagen Golf.
