Skoda put their new Fabia Estate model on sale

The time has arrived for the Czech firm Skoda who have just put their brand new estate version of their popular Fabia on sale for the 2015 year. The Fabia has a good reputation in more than one country as being one of the best value for money vehicles that money can buy. Does the addition of an estate variant offer much of the same though and should you think about making the purchase on this new variant?. Well to be honest, if you love those family days out and are looking for some comfort and decent power output, the Fabia estate could be that perfect little runner for you. It is reasonably priced, offers some good kit for the value and could be a vehicle that you could be driving for a very long time.

What does the new Fabia estate offer you value for money wise?

So lets take a look at the new model and outline some of the specifics that make it special. We start off with a look inside of the car. Leather featuring on the steering wheel and other areas of the cabin are some of the standard features aswell as a touch screen sat nav as standard too. If you upgrade to the mid range SE line up, you will find a DAB digital radio, rear parking sensors and central locking. Outside of the car we see LED daytime running lights find their way into the entry level model,a keyless start up system and fifteen inch alloy wheels also help the new Fabia to make an impact. Over two hundred litres of extra space come along with the new Fabia addition making it considerably larger than the standard hatchback.

Engine and performance wise, two engines are up for the taking including the entry level one litre unit. However a 1.2 litre,TSI engine is also an optional fitting also coming turbo charged. Paired with a manual five speed transmission, we see an output of 89bhp and a top speed reached of 115 miles per hour therefore offering you great value for money.

How much does the new Fabia estate cost?

Speaking of good value for money, prices for the new Fabia estate begin at £12,405 but for the higher spec model boasting the 1.2 litre engine, we see a cost come in at £15,385. The new vehicle is available to drive away from your local Skoda showroom today and offers a great alternative to the likes of the Seat Ibiza and the Ford Focus.
