The Paris motor show this coming October will play host to the official first glimpses of new cars coming out towards the end of the year and throughout 2015 also. One of the vehicles we here at Shortfall are excited about though is the all new face lifted version of the A6 from German manufacturer Audi.
This model was officially confirmed by the brand owners a number of months ago and this coming October marks the very first glimpse of the car to the general public and media alike. Audi since they were founded in 1909 have always proven to be one of the finest car manufacturing companies around the world. They have drawn in much success from vehicle additions such as the TT and the A5 amongst many many more. So what will the new S6 model have to offer you that could potentially give it the edge over some rival competition from the likes of Mercedes amongst others?

So what new features of this particular model help it stand out and potentially make an impact on the future of our car industry? Well performance wise with this particular model, we see that the use of a 4.0 litre, twin turbo, V8 engine comes into play which will overall help the car to reach an estimated power output of around 429 brake horse power. The current sprint time of an Audi S6 on the market right now from 0 to 62 miles per hour occurs in 4.6 seconds. It is expected that the S6 face lifted model will certainly improve on this time but we are uncertain at this stage in time by how much.
A couple of new changes to the face lift model are said to include the likes of LED headlights, tweaked bumpers and new modified side skirts. A new range of safety and assistance systems are expected to come along with the S6 along side a brand new infotainment system.
When will the face lifted Audi S6 officially go on sale?
Well as we previously mentioned, the official reveal of this particular model is set to take place this coming October from the Paris motor show. In regards to when a world wide release will take place, it is expected it will be at some point throughout the start of 2015. Price ranges aren't expected to be much higher than the current cost of a brand new S6 which currently comes in at £54,505.
