The Mini Cooper D for 2014 goes on sale

In some of the latest vehicle release news today to make it's way out of the iconic British brand Mini, we are pleased to report on the grand launch of the all new Mini Cooper D which has recently been put on sale here in the United Kingdom and could very well prove to be one of the finest addition's to the range in recent years. Mini for a number of years have been one of the most recognisable brands around the world and have tremendous success with models such as the likes of the One and the Clubman and of course the Cooper. This all new addition of the Diesel Cooper though could very well to top them all in terms of sales.

What is so special about the Mini Cooper D?

So what is it about this particular model that makes it stand out amongst its predecessors and why should you choose the Mini Cooper D over anything on offer from rival brand's including the likes of  Ford, Vauxhall or Citroen? Well firstly, with a look into the engine and its overall performance rates, we see the inclusion of a 1.5 litre three cylinder turbo diesel engine that has an overall power output of 114 brake horse power with top speeds being reached all round of 127 miles per hour. With that in mind we see the Cooper D make the jump from 0 to 62 miles per hour in an overall time of 9.2 seconds. The Cooper D comes with a six speed, manual transmission system but also benefits from being a front wheel drive model.

How much does the Mini Cooper D sell for?

You can expect to make a purchase on this brand new Cooper D model for a cost of £16,450 and you can purchase it right now from Mini showrooms all around the UK and across other parts of the world too.
