The New Range Rover Hybrid

A New Range Rover Hybrid

Land Rover do have a history of being pioneers and venturing into the unknown grounds and once again they seem to have done that, as they look to offer the worlds first premium diesel hybrid SUV.

The model is due for its first public unveiling at the Frankfurt Motor Show on September 10th. The previous unveiling of the Range Rover Sport at the New York Motor Show stole the show as British Actor Daniel Craig drove the model through the streets of Manhattan before arriving at the show.

Jaguar Land Rover have also started the implication of offering all aluminium models following the recent discussion of the fuel efficiency of larger vehicles. The new Range Rover Hybrid model will be the worlds first luxury diesel hybrid in the shape of an SUV.

The new Hybrid Range Rover now has the ability of offering an impressive 26% lower CO2 emissions than the standard Range Rover model. Jaguar Land Rover have announced that the Range Rover Hybrid model will now face a 10,000 mile expedition that will test the car to the full.

The Jaguar Land Rover firm has enjoyed a fair amount of success from the Range Rover models with the Range Rover Evoque being the most successful. The Evoque model is now said to be one of the most wanted cars in the UK and around the world.

Whilst the majority of luxury vehicles have struggled due to the somewhat diminishing of the European Car Market, Jaguar Land Rover have paid close attention to the emerging markets of the US and China as a way of staying in the profit and increasing the market share of the brand.

Other brands such as Fiat and Peugeot Citroen have now looked at the success of the Range Rover Evoque. Both Fiat and the Peugeot Citroen company have struggled as of late and plan to increase their current range of models and look to offer that something different in a way of getting back to profitable ways. Peugeot Citroen plan to use the techniques of the Range Rover brand to create something similar to that of the Ford Focus.
