It regards an all new Corsa model which is set to go on sale and it comes under the title of the VXR. This VXR model is set to be the quickest Corsa variant available on the road when it launches and could prove to be a vehicle that helps to maintain a steady fan base and competition with other car firms such as Renault and Citroen.
The Corsa is one of the most recognised vehicles available on the road today and has been for many years. It has proven via various models that it is a good all round city car in many countries and moves around swiftly. This new VXR addition to the Corsa family however will be one of the fastest on offer.
What makes the Corsa VXR a quicker machine than ever before?
So what is it that gives this particular variant that added boost and a bit more power to contend with other companies such as Ford on our roads? Well engine wise,the manufacturer has indeed stated that this model will come with the choice of a 1.6 litre,petrol engine that comes with a direct injection system.
197 brake horse power will the final output of the VXR. Another engine range set to go on sale with this model also includes the likes of a power built 202 brake horse power engine. If you do opt for a higher spec range you can also expect to receive an all new sports exhaust system,Billstein dampers and a set of Brembo brakes also which will help this model go head to head with the likes of the Ford Focus ST and the Renaultsport Clio 200.
When will the Corsa VXR be unveiled in public?
The simple answer to that question. Wednesday the 9th of July. The VXR will officially arrive in showrooms from next year with an expected price tag expected to be revealed soon.
