It has been one of the most popular vehicles of the past twelve months and today we can confirm that the C4 Cactus from Citroen is celebrating even more success. The vehicle has today been given the award of the 'Carbuyer' car of the year. This is an incredible achievement considering the amount of vehicles that have gone on sale over the duration of the past twelve months. The vehicle was also awarded the most economical car of the year also. The Ford Focus ST model also joined by winning the best hot hatchback of the year award also. There is no doubt about it that both of these cars are very special vehicles that have brought a lot of success for both brands. The C4 Cactus was launched just last year and the Focus ST in 2009.

The Mercedes S Class convertible out in the open again

The S Class convertible from Mercedes Benz is on the way and we have known about this new addition for the past number of months. On separate occasions we have also seen the brand new model out and about testing with one of the latest caught on camera as recently as last month. Today however new images have been posted online which shows the vehicle testing once again but this time giving us our best indication yet as to what we can expect from the new model. It is pretty much set in stone that the cars default paint job is White as demonstrated once again. Daytime running lights and LED headlights are some features we have seen time and time again on the Cabriolet model and the thin tailights also being captured on camera once more. The very same single bar grille in chrome much like we can see on other S Class models all carry over with a lot of design remaining the same.

The big obvious change though is of course the Black soft top roof which replaces the standard roof. The car is looking great as is the power and performance as confirmed by a Bi turbo V8 sized engine with 449bhp. AMG will tune the engine later into the cars life also by offering 576 and 630 brake horse power.
