New Honda Civic Type R images-Rolls Royce SUV-Seat crossover tease
We first seen the new vision for the Honda Civic Type R range last year when the company revealed a concept version of the next model. When the vehicle was displayed it was shown in a much sportier design than we have ever seen before but there was no confirmation from Honda themselves to exactly if it would like that once launched onto the road. Recent images which have surfaced online however reveal that the car may be receiving some changes compared to the concept when it goes on sale. An image has been posted online which shows a cover being lifted up revealing a minor area of the back end of the car. The back bumper, exhausts system and part of the side of the door can also be seen in the image in a White paint design.
There are also some current rumours which suggest that the LED lighting that was shown at the front end of the car may very well be removed. The design of the wheels are also expected to change compared to that of the concept. We are not any closer to learning as of when the new car will be presented in production form or as to when the car will be made available on the road. It will be interesting to see how different the car is going to look though compared to that of its concept predecessor.
Seat tease what seems to be a new crossover
Seat this afternoon have posted an image onto their official Twitter account of what appears to be a new crossover/SUV model in the works. With the image being posted, the firm also stated that the new model will go on display in Geneva from the big motor show next week. The car has been confirmed for a reveal on Tuesday but for the time being, it is pretty much a vehicle of mystery for the time being. The picture that was posted however shows the new model from the front end revealing part of the grille that the vehicle is using and triangular shaped headlights which look to us like they may be using LED lighting. A Dark Orange paint job was also visible. For now we have no idea as to what this new car from Seat is but we are looking forward to this mystery vehicles reveal.
Developments on the new Rolls Royce SUV
Last week Rolls Royce confirmed in an open letter that they have been given the green light to go ahead and produce a new SUV model. This move is expected to be made in order to compete with the new 'Bentayga' model from Bentley which will mark their first ever SUV also. However there have been new developments in the Rolls Royce story over the past twenty four hours which reveals that the new model is being worked on and has been given the code name of 'Cullinan'. The new SUV is expected to be one of the flag bearers of the brand and this code name adds a little more truth to that statement. The Cullinan is the name of the biggest diamond ever found in the world and can be traced back to 1905. Prices on the new SUV are expected to come in excess of the £200,000 area but no confirmation has been given regarding a planned launch time for the vehicle. With the new Bentley 'Bentayga' set to go on sale later this year, we would think that Rolls Royce would look to launch close to this time but 2016 seems more realistic at this point in time if not later.
