New Mitsubishi West London showroom-Toyota dealerships to close-Lotus for Formula 1

The latest news ahead of the Formula 1 2015 season is that the Lotus team in the F1 championship could be in trouble as far as participation for their team is concerned. Both Caterham and Marussia racing teams are listed as subject to confirm as far as their participation in the championship is concerned this year. The latest though is that the Lotus team may not even race in the championship this year. They have the same subject to confirm listing beside their name on the confirmed team sheet for the Formula 1 this season. With Lotus, Caterham and Marussia unconfirmed for the F1 this season, there is speculation that neither company may compete which would therefore result in the smallest starting grid in Formula one history.

Ten percent of Toyota dealerships in China could close

After reporting a loss in 2014 and failing to meet there sales targets in China, it look as though around ten percent of Toyota dealerships in China could very well be set to close their doors with a majority of other Toyota showrooms running on a loss. Dealers at the affected showrooms in China are asking Toyota for more funding for their dealership as they have stated that they have a lot of vehicles in their showrooms that they just cant sell. In a rather telling figure, around ninety five percent of Toyota dealers in China are losing money due to the lack of sales. Sales figures for the 2014 year by the dealers were lowered by six percent and the dealers are requesting for these targets to not be raised for 2015. Things have been up and down for Toyota recently with the recent Takata airbag recalls affecting a vast amount of manufacturers around the world and Toyota in China too. So looking into the telling picture here, could these recalls have something to do with the lack of sales in China?. Let us know your thoughts on these recent losses for Toyota.
