Seat growth in 2014-Lexus RX set for New York-Cadillac to return to the UK

New car sales for the 2014 year are still continuing to flood in and the latest brand to enter the mix with their sales are Spanish firm Seat. The brand have today revealed that they are celebrating some good success with a rise in income with a total growth of 15.8 percent for the last twelve month duration. To add to this climb, recent reports have also shown that new car sales for the company over the past two months have also climbed by 7.5 percent in total compared to the same period in 2014. For the financial year last year after tax, Seat said that they had made sixty six million Euros. Most European markets were also shown to be their most popular selling countries with right here in the United Kingdom, Germany and Spain being the most popular. The Leon range still remains as one of the companies biggest selling vehicles and with the launch of a brand new suv on the horizon next year, we could also see sales for the brand continue to improve.

The Geneva Motor Show has just ended and already we are pretty close to our next big motoring even on the calendar which is the New York Motor Show getting underway from next month. Already we know of a number of firms who will take to the stage in the 'big apple' to reveal some new models such as Jaguar with their brand new XF model set for a debut in London on Tuesday. The next brand to throw themselves into the festivities is Toyota's luxury division of Lexus. They have today revealed that live from New York, they will be unveiling their brand new crossover model badged under the name of the RX. The company teased the new model with an image today which shown the right side of the car with emphasis being on the body sculpturing and rear light. Nothing much has been confirmed for the new model as of yet but a V6 sized engine can be expected to be found underneath the bonnet and also some possibility of a hybrid drive train too. The lights at the back end of the car look familiar to that of the GS and IS models but any information regarding any more specifications is yet to be revealed. Keep an eye out for the new RX on the 1st of April.
