New Vauxhall Corsa Release Date
Vauxhall have revealed that the new Vauxhall Corsa updated model will be released at the Paris Motor Show in September of this year with order books opening following the show.
A number of online images have also been revealed which seem to show the latest Corsa model taking on the look of an Adam model. The front of the Corsa model in particular has taken on the grille of the Adam.
The Vauxhall Adam model has been labelled as being the success and highlight of the brand despite failing to overtake the likes of the Corsa and the Astra. After a number of rave reviews for styling of the Adam model, it is believed that the look of the Adam will be transferred across the whole Vauxhall range.
Most recently, the US owned Vauxhall firm have released two new Adam variants at the latest Geneva Motor Show. The Adam Rocks model has been the biggest headline grabbing model at the Geneva Motor Show due to the engine choice on the model.
The Adam Rocks model was fitted with the 1.0 litre EcoTec engine which has been built to rival the likes of the Ford Fiesta and the Focus. It has not yet been revealed whether or not the new Vauxhall Corsa model will have the ability to offer the model with the 1.0 litre engine.
On the other hand, it is more than likely that the Vauxhall Corsa model will be offering the latest 1.6 litre diesel engine. This engine has helped Vauxhall meet European emission rules and will emit less than 100g/km of CO2.
The new Vauxhall Corsa has been designed to help the firm fight for the top spot in the UK. Rivals Ford have held the top spot for a considerable amount of time and finished in the top two best selling cars list for the year of 2013.
The Corsa model finished in third with 80,000 models being sold which was 30,000 more than that sold in the German car market.
